Do I have to offer independent contractors time off?

No, there is no mandatory paid time off, vacation days or sick leave for independent contractors. Unlike employees, independent contractors are not legally entitled to such benefits. 

Depending on the contract type, you may choose to offer time off for contractors. Fixed contracts have a time off option, but you can decide if the time off will be paid or unpaid.
